    Also on the actual launchdate the props ripped the dock off because ofthe great suction why don't we hear about that ever?

    The grates and locked doors were used primarily to keep the steerage passengers from associating with the wealthy passengers on the upper decks. I am not sure why they never mentioned the dock problem.
