Does anyone know where I can find the rules and regulations for private rafters in Idaho? We have two 9.5' oar rafts and would like to take a few short float trips this summer. Can we just go anywhere there is public access?

    What a good question...
And Yes! you can just go anywhere there is public access...
Idaho, has no mandatory boater safety education, However, they do have boating laws that apply to operators of "motor" boats and personal watercraft (jetskis)...
Below is a link... check it out... It not only gives you the rules & regs... it has some links that may have some good information on places to float.
    Happy & Safe Boating!
